The equipment for the gas turbine module is partially
fitted inside a stan dard ISO 40 ft container and the
other part on top of the container. This way the whole
module is assembled on the workshop floor then interlinked
on site. The hot air turbine generator is fitted inside
of the container, the ductwork including air filter,
oil cooler and exhaust air from the turbine are placed
on top of the container. The complete equipment fitted
with all the necessary connections as well as any re-enforcement
of container required.
This module is complete with batteries to start the
turbogenerator, control room, electric panels and programmable
logic control. For these particular turbo - generator
a new or second-hand GARRETT - IE 831 - 800 types
is used or other turbo-genberator with similar characteristics.

To convert a conventional hot gas turbine (which has
to be one with a external combustion chamber) into a
hot air turbine it is necessary to reconstruct the combustion
chamber and connect to the external high pressure hot
air heat exchanger .

To increase the overall efficiency there is a regenerator
which preheats the air from the compressor by exhaust
air from the turbine - decreasing the need for biomass
energy. In this case - electric efficiency cogeneration
plant with hot air operating and biomnass is equivalent
to electric efficiency of classic gas turbine cogeneration
system without regenerator ( se diagram ). If there
is requirement for exhaust hot air from the turbine
to be used for indirect heating of hot water, hot oil
or steam it is possible to supply additional module
with all necessary equipment.
